Classes Painting from the Heart. Painting and movement full day workshops: Archetypes and Symbols and Journey into the Garden
Maya Cockburn - I have a degree in Fine Art from Maidstone College of Art and have exhibited my prints and paintings for many years. I am also a professional and practising Dance and Movement Psychotherapist. My love and passion for both these art forms guided me in creating an approach to painting that includes sensing into what it is to inhabit our bodies, what it is that connects us to our life, and how we can express these aspects of ourselves freely and spontaneously through the medium of paint. This is a simple yet profound process, offering the potential for change and transformation. It is always a privilege to witness the process of blossoming in these classes and workshops.
